I’m Jarrad, a designer from Sydney with eight years experience working across brand development, identity creation, and visual and web design.
I hold both UK and Australian citizenship, so have had some great exposure while working in London and Sydney.
Recently, I’ve focused on creating a brand identity for a new payments platform in Australia.

As Senior Designer at WiTH Collective I was primarily responsible for elevating creative design, with a focus on digital execution. My key responsibilities were creating new brands, refreshing identities and developing design systems collaboratively with clients. Mason & Sons – Design Director

London, Mar 2016 – Feb 2017

As Design Director I worked to extend the Mason & Sons customer offering and enhance the service experience. My role was to revitalise and launch six English heritage brands; Anthony Sinclair, Curry & Paxton, Mason & Sons, Mr. Fish, Motoluxe and Lombe. For each brand I led development of art direction, design, retouching, look books, online editorial and e-commerce strategies. I oversaw a small creative team to maintain brand consistency and deliver a high standard of work.

Freelance Senior Designer, London, Mar 2016 – Feb 2017

As Senior Designer I was responsible for refreshing the Anthony Sinclair brand. This involved developing a new website, producing weekly newsletters and preparing artwork for web, press, print collateral and product branding.

Mercieca – Designer

As a designer in an integrated agency I was responsible for delivering simple and effective communications across all channels for a diverse range of clients including Coca-Cola, Tia Maria, Heinz, William Grant’s, Mitre, UK Lottery, and Winsor & Newton. My focus was on refreshing existing brands and developing identities for new ones, additionally I created designs to be used in experiential, shopper, trade, PR and social campaigns.

Sense – Designer / Studio manager

London, Oct 2014 – May 2015

Working in an experiential agency, my overall focus was to produce designs and artwork across all mediums for ambient advertising and live events. As a designer I took concepts from their early stages and developed creative executions right through to artwork. Also functioning as the Studio Manager, I was responsible for ensuring designs were developed within timelines to print and digital specifications, as well as establishing and implementing creative processes, monitoring equipment, and driving new ideas to improve efficiency and productivity of the design studio.

Ogilvy Action – Designer

London, Apr 2013 – Oct 2014

In a team of global creative guardians, I delivered communications, events, packaging, and GTR for local and foreign markets. Working predominantly on BAT brands, my focus was design and art direction across brand and activation for Rothmans. As most tobacco markets are heavily restricted, with varying local legislation, this role provided me with a unique problem solving experience and creative challenge.

Ogilvy Australia – Designer / Print Specialist

Sydney, Jan 2012 – Mar 2013

As a designer with a vast knowledge of print, I launched an in-house digital print business to service Ogilvy Sydney and their clients, driving growth in the business by extending our print services to all group companies. I delivered designs, and managed creative, studio and production departments, as well determined the best paper stocks and printing options to deliver a new client offering – a 24 hour turnaround service from concept to finished printed product.

Production Manager / Artworker, Sydney, Oct 2009 – Dec 2011

In Print Production I liaised between clients, creative, third-party photography, print, and paper suppliers to achieve quality work and meet deadlines. In addition, I monitored budgets and timings as well as developed new creative solutions. As an artworker I worked across all Ogilvy clients, having involvement in pitches, development of style guidelines and preparing print-ready artwork for through-the-line campaigns encompassing outdoor, POS, press, direct-mail, and builds for online.
